Interesting. AI does not only reduce the number of jobs. It intensifies the jobs that already exist. The human desire to contribute while also seeking recognition—possibly within guilds or domains they find more interesting but that lie outside their competence—creates problems. There we likely face a new challenge with AI, where the concept of responsibility for one’s own capability and self-awareness becomes critical. These are parameters that are unfortunately threatened by hyper-individualism.
